Felix Bankston, M.A. LMFTA (They/Them)

Therapist

I am a Marriage & Family Therapist Associate working under the direct supervision of Dezryelle Clouse, LMFT. I am in my second year of my graduate program at Seattle University. I have clinical experience in community behavioral health and case management, as well as crisis intervention for LGBTQ+ youth.

I specialize in queer, trans, and non-binary affirming therapy, identity and intersectionality, gender and sexuality, non-traditional relationships (polyamory and ethical non-monogamy), racial identity and trauma, generational trauma, life transitions, and anxiety and depression.

My integrative approach seeks to identify patterns in your history and how they are impacting your lived experience today. I will collaborate with you on your goals, highlight your strengths and growing edges, and walk with you as you transform. Along the way, we will notice cycles that are no longer serving you through mind-body connection and emotional regulation. My goal is to help you root in love for yourself and all the versions of you that brought you here.

It is so courageous and vulnerable to share your story in the therapy space. It takes strength to seek support that steers you, eventually, to clarity and liberation from the things that haunt you. It is a great honor for me to share this time and energy with you as you begin this journey.

Offerings: Adult and adolescent individuals, couples, and family therapy.

Approach: Narrative therapy, existential, somatic and mindfulness approach, trauma-informed, motivational interviewing, solution-focused.

Education: Seattle Central College, BA in Applied Behavioral Sciences, 2022 ┃ Seattle University, MA in Couples and Family Therapy, 2026

If I were an animal, I would be a: An octopus: Great at problem-solving, multi-tasking, and escaping danger, they are intelligent and mysterious creatures of the ocean.

What makes me human? Chit-chat with baristas and cashiers, my laughably bad geo-navigation skills, watching comfort shows, and the existential urge to just lay on the floor and breathe.

Dezryelle Clouse, M.A., LMFT, 200YTT (She/Her)

Owner & Therapist

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (#60608697 WA / #86685 CA), Somatic Coach, Clinical Supervisor, Business Consultant, Yoga Instructor, International Workshop & Retreat Leader, and the owner of Satya Wellness Collective, PLLC.

With over fifteen years of experience across a wide range of mental health settings, including community mental health, nonprofits, residential treatment centers, private practice, organizational development, crisis response, and leadership training, I have developed a deep understanding of both the strengths and limitations of the U.S. healthcare system. Through this work, I have witnessed how structural inequities—including systemic racism, patriarchy, capitalism, colonialism, and ableism—shape access to care and influence the way trauma is experienced and carried in our bodies and communities.

My work at Satya Wellness Collective reflects a commitment to social justice and reimagining mental health care. I am passionate about challenging systems that perpetuate harm, reducing barriers to care, and creating spaces where healing is both deeply personal and connected to collective wellbeing.

As an empath, sensitivity is one of my greatest strengths, and I am highly attuned to the emotional experiences and needs of others. My approach is holistic and integrative, blending traditional talk therapy with body-centered practices to support teens, adults, highly sensitive people, high achievers, and women in leadership.

I specialize in helping clients heal complex trauma, navigate anxiety and perfectionism, cultivate meaningful relationships, and reconnect with their embodied sense of wellbeing.

I am deeply passionate about helping people reclaim their authentic self-worth and reconnect with their innate wisdom through reflective, trauma-informed care. Together, we work to gently heal childhood wounds, learn to trust the body’s signals, navigate stress and difficult emotions, and develop the capacity to move through the world with greater calm, confidence, and self-trust.

Offerings: Individual Therapy with Adolescents and Adults, Family Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Clinical Supervision, Business Coaching & Consulting, Leadership Training/Development, Organizational Trauma Services.

Approach: Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems Informed Techniques (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Expressive Arts Therapy Techniques, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Trauma Informed.

Specialities: Trauma & PTSD, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Parent-Child Relationships, Family Estrangement, Inner Child Work, HSPs, high achievers, and women in leadership.

Education: University of California, Los Angeles, BA in Psychology, 2010. ┃ Pepperdine University, MA in Clinical Psychology, 2012.

If I were an animal, I would be a: Panda Bear… “tranquil strength” according to Google, and they just make me smile :)

What makes me human? My perfectionism, grinding my teeth at night, my terrible math skills, and my frequency for reciting lines from my favorite TV show.

Betul Coban, B.S. (She/Her)

Student Intern

I am a student intern working under the direct supervision of Deanna Saelee, LMHC. I wholeheartedly trust that you carry wisdom about what you need to heal, grow, and come home to your own wholeness—even when that knowing is difficult to access. My hope is that we co-create a space with enough trust, openness, curiosity, and playfulness where all of you is welcome. Together, we can slow down and attend to what is unfolding in your thoughts, emotions, body, and the space between us. Through compassionate awareness, we can uncover and honor the patterns that helped you adapt, find belonging, or survive while making room for new choices. We’ll follow your process at a pace that respects your capacity while remaining curious about the larger systems shaping your life.

You may be living with anxiety or depression, carrying a persistent sense of overwhelm, facing relationship challenges or the demands of parenting, moving through life transitions, or tending to wounds shaped by trauma. Whether you arrive carrying significant pain or a quieter sense that something does not feel quite right, I do not see therapy as fixing a broken person, but as creating the conditions for greater awareness, connection, choice, and a fuller sense of aliveness. I bring my full humanness with me—naturally curious, expressive, and deeply caring. I see myself as temporary scaffolding and a compassionate witness as you reconnect with your own sense of what matters and create more room for meaning and joy.

I do not believe we struggle or heal in a vacuum. Families, relationships, cultures, institutions, and systems of power shape our experiences. My work is grounded in cultural humility and informed by systemic, multicultural, and anti-oppressive perspectives. I am especially committed to offering affirming care to neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, BIPOC, bicultural, and immigrant clients while welcoming adults and adolescents across identities and experiences.

I am queer, neurodivergent, bicultural, a first-generation immigrant from Turkey, a person of the global majority, a mama, and deeply spiritual. I have lived experience with monogamous and consensually nonmonogamous relationships. I share these parts of myself not to assume sameness, but to help you decide whether I may be a good fit.

If you feel an internal yes as you read this, I would love to hear from you.

Offerings: Individual therapy for adults and adolescents.

Approach: Somatic and Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Informed, Gestalt Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Relational & Attachment-Based, Trauma-Informed, Yoga-Informed Practices.

Education: University of Washington, B.S. in Microbiology and B.S. in Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology. ┃ Seattle University, M.A.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, anticipated graduation in 2027.

If I were an animal, I would be a: A puma: intuitive, observant, adaptable, fiercely devoted, and most at ease with plenty of room to roam in nature.

What makes me human? My expressive face, which sometimes responds before I find the words; my love of Turkish drama series; and being humbled daily by motherhood.

*Availability: Betul will be accepting clients in late September 2026

Embodiment Facilitator

I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and Yoga Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey to reconnect with their whole self through the practices of yoga, meditation, breathwork, and yoga philosophy. My approach is grounded in the belief that every individual can access resiliency, sense of empowerment, and their inherent wholeness. I have taught body-centered approaches in various settings, including community spaces, eating disorders treatment centers, support groups, corporate wellness programs, as well as private settings.

I followed my heart, left my work as a lawyer, and immersed myself in the practice and study of the yoga traditions. I aim to share yoga and its contemplative qualities as a way of self-inquiry, and create space for individuals to connect, reflect, nurture self-compassion and wholeness.

Nicole Evans, M.A., LMHC (She/Her)

Therapist

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MHC.LH.70096825) who primarily works with adults navigating relationship issues, anxiety, life transitions, and questions about direction and what they want from their lives.

Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware people who understand what’s happening intellectually, but still feel stuck in familiar patterns. Maybe you’re struggling in your relationship with a partner, family member, or friend, or feeling torn about whether to leave or stay in a relationship, job, or other life situation. You might find yourself overthinking, second-guessing your needs, people-pleasing, holding very high standards for yourself, or having trouble trusting your own judgment enough to take action.

I’m a deep and attentive listener, and I tend to notice connections between the different pieces of what you share: patterns across relationships, conflicting needs, beliefs about yourself, and the ways your past experiences may still be shaping how you respond today. My style is warm, genuine, and down-to-earth, and I want therapy to feel like a real conversation. I won’t simply sit back quietly and listen. I’ll ask questions, share observations, offer different perspectives, and gently challenge you when it may help you to see something more clearly.

When a situation feels tangled or overwhelming, I can help you sort through what matters most, recognize what is and isn’t within your control, and make sense of what may be keeping you stuck. I don’t assume that I know what’s best for you. Instead, I want to help you build trust in your own judgment and make choices that feel aligned with your needs and values. I view therapy as a process where we balance deeper understanding with practical tools and skills that make sense for you and your life.

I tend to work especially well with clients who are curious about themselves and want therapy to be active and collaborative: not only a place to feel supported, but a place to question assumptions, try new ways of responding, and make meaningful changes outside the therapy room. You don’t need to have everything clearly defined before beginning. Uncertainty, ambivalence, and mixed feelings are welcome parts of the process.

Offerings: Individual Therapy with Adults & Adolescents and Couples Therapy.

Approach: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems-Informed Therapy. Integrative, Relational, and Trauma-Informed.

Specialities: Relationship & Attachment Issues, Communication Skills, Boundaries & People-Pleasing, Divorce / Separation & Co-Parenting, Anxiety & Overthinking, Perfectionism, Life Transitions, Stress & Burnout, ADHD & Executive Functioning, Nontraditional Relationships (e.g. Polyamory/ENM), Psychedelic Integration, and Self-Exploration around Personality, Values, and Goals.

Education:  University of Washington, BS in Physics & Astronomy, 2011. ┃  California Institute of Integral Studies, MA in Counseling Psychology, 2020.

If I were an animal, I would be: An owl — I’m perceptive, focused, and patient. I have a love for all things mysterious, I’m always seeking greater wisdom and insight, and I'm typically more active at night.

What makes me human?: I’m addicted to documentaries, I love all kinds of electronic music, and I have more houseplants than I can reasonably care for. Also, it sometimes takes me a minute to realize that I’m talking to myself out loud in public!

*Availability: Nicole is accepting clients now with limited availability.

Sarah Lieb, LMHCA, ATR-P (She/They)

Therapist

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (MHCA.MC.70049768) and Art Therapist (ATR-P LIEB-UK9Z0F), working under the direct supervision of Deanna Saelee, LMHC. My approach is rooted in the belief that we are all self-healers, and I am passionate about supporting clients in deepening their relationship with their intuition and inner wisdom. Healing looks different for everyone, and I collaborate with clients to explore goals that feel meaningful and authentic to them. I strive to create a space where every part of you is met with curiosity and compassion—a warm, non-judgmental container where you can feel safe to explore and express yourself.

As a neurodivergent, highly sensitive woman with a late-in-life autism diagnosis and lived experience of chronic illness, I am deeply committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming care. I enjoy supporting adolescents and adults exploring ADHD or autism, and those seeking greater understanding of themselves and their experiences in relation to neurodiversity. I have completed a year-long specialized certificate in trauma counseling and have worked with survivors of sexual abuse and complex trauma across all ages. As a trauma-informed counselor, I help clients transform their relationship to trauma, creating space for resilience, growth, and self-compassion.

I also integrate creativity as a tool for self-discovery and healing. As an Art Therapist, I use the art-making process as a guide for reflection, insight, and conversation. Art therapy does not require artistic skill—the focus is on the process rather than the product. Art-making offers a gentle, embodied way to explore emotions and experiences that can be difficult to put into words, which is especially supportive when processing trauma or difficult memories. I meet you where you are, adapting each session to your unique needs while honoring the rhythm of your healing journey—so you feel supported, seen, and guided every step of the way.

Jen Oato Bennett, SE Student, 200RYT (She/Her)

Embodiment Facilitator

I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in my advanced year of training with Somatic Experiencing International, a certified dance healing facilitator, yoga instructor, and embodiment guide. As a body-based healing practitioner, I focus on creating a safe container for individuals to build a sense of trust and connection with their body. I meet my clients with compassion, empathy, and non-judgment. It is my belief that every human possesses the ability to heal from trauma. I guide individuals to learn the language of their nervous system, build regulation tools, and feel into their innate resilience.

Movement is one the ways I feel the most at-home in my own body, and I am passionate about guiding my clients to find the ways they feel at-home in theirs. I have a diverse movement background as a yoga and dance teacher (ask me about my weekly sensual jazz funk dance class), and I co-facilitate The Well - a somatic group healing space - which takes shape in the form of workshops, series, and retreats.

As a practitioner, I recognize the impacts of the systems of oppression we live in, and the ways our society rarely makes space for the complexities of being a human. My approach is a good fit for someone who has tried traditional talk therapy and is looking to go deeper into embodiment and tend to their nervous system. I look forward to meeting new people taking the brave step to connect deeper to themselves and to their life force.

Offerings: Somatic Experiencing, Dance Healing, and Yoga.

Approach: Nervous system regulation & self-protective response completion, meditation & mindfulness, dance healing & somatic expressive arts.

Specialities: Trauma/PTSD, prenatal and postpartum care - birth trauma, miscarriage and pregnancy loss, acute injury trauma, self-trust/intuition building, boundary work, intersectionality, identity and belonging.

Education: Western Washington University, BA in Public Relations & Sociology, 2011 ┃ 200RYT, The Craft of Teaching Yoga, 2018 ┃ Dance Healing Facilitation, Embody Soul, 2023 ┃ SEP, current advanced level student.

If I were an animal, I would be: An orca whale - for their strength, grace, and deep connection to community/family.

What makes me human? My backseat being covered in dog hair and kid crumbs, my love of competition reality TV and chocolate chip cookies, and my obsession with Olympus Spa.

Deanna Saelee, M.A., LMHC (She/Her)

Clinical Supervisor

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH 60493219) and Clinical Supervisor. My work is rooted in the belief that our families, culture, and life experiences shape us to be who we are today. I am always fascinated when individuals share their stories, as no story is the same. The common theme I see in all these stories are human connection. For me, I struggled a lot when I moved from Japan to Spokane, WA. It was scary to be in a new place as a child. As I began searching for different places to attend graduate school, I decided to embark on my journey to beautiful Seattle, WA. Here i was able to find diverse communities, including a strong Japanese community, which provided me the opportunity to feel connected to my cultural identity again. I truly believe in the importance of celebrating our unique cultural identities because it gives us a positive sense of belonging and connectedness.

My clinical experience include providing therapy services to children, youth, and families in underserved communities. Most of my training has focused on working with individuals who have experienced dating and sexual violence. I have also had the opportunity to do prevention work with adolescents around healthy relationships. I am experienced in helping individuals heal in the areas of trauma and abuse, relationships, stress management, self-esteem, cultural identity and life transitions.

Offerings: Clinical Supervision.

Approach: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and EMDR.

Education: Eastern Washington University, BA in Psychology, 2010. ┃ Argosy University, MA in Clinical Psychology, 2012.

If I were an animal, I would be a: Indoor cat: laid back, love sun bathing, not a big fan of water, love naps, love snacks (food motivated), and observant.

What makes me human? My fear of heights, thriving on routine, crying while I watch Disney movies, and being silly with my toddler.

*Availability: Deanna is only offering Clinical Supervision and is not meeting with clients at SWC

Heather Thomson, MSSW, LCSW(She/Her)

Clinical Supervisor

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LW 60703522) and Clinical Supervisor. My goal as a therapist is to help individuals learn how to change self-defeating beliefs and patterns that are no longer serving them, so that they can feel grounded and reconnect to their authentic self. My clinical experience includes working with adults in community mental health, as well as inpatient and outpatient settings prior to entering private practice in 2018. In my practice, I specialize in working with individuals (18+) who are experiencing anxiety (in all its forms), depression, mood disorders, grief, navigating complex family of origin and/or relational dynamics and treating trauma. I am certified in EMDR, which is an evidence based modality for working with trauma.  I also provide couples/relationship counseling, using evidence based emotionally focused couples therapy.

A few beliefs I hold close are that we are all inherently worthy; people are doing the best they can; clients are the experts on themselves and that curiosity, being present and getting grounded are emotion regulation superpowers that we are all capable of achieving with practice and support.

As a white, cis, able-bodied woman, I understand the role that systemic oppression has played and acknowledge the ways that system has benefited me. Because of this, I am committed to working from an anti-oppressive lens and practice deep curiosity, humility and non judgment.

I’m a real human too. When I am not working, you can find me spending time with friends and family, chasing after my toddler, reading a book, enjoying nature, trying my hand at making something delicious in the kitchen, playing with my hound dogs or watching the newest superhero movie.

Offerings: Clinical Supervision.

Approach: Somatic & Mindfulness Based Techniques, EMDR, Attachment Theory, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Motivational Interviewing, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT).

Education: Bachelor of Arts, University of Puget Sound,  2008. ┃ Master of Science in Social Work, University of Texas at Austin, 2012.

If I were an animal, I would be a: An elephant: they are reliable, nurturing, thoughtful, value community and are memory keepers

What makes me human? My need for coffee and sparkling water daily, smiling at every dog I see, my dry sense of humor, the endless toy and dog hair clean up that goes on at my house, and my love of camping while simultaneously missing quick access to a hot shower

*Availability: Heather is only offering Clinical Supervision and is not meeting with clients at SWC
