Looking for Mental Health Treatment?

There’s a lot to consider when making important choices about your healthcare. We want it to be as easy as possible for you to understand our program and policies. Please take the time to read over this information carefully so that you are fully informed about your choices and how we can help you.

Let’s Get Started!

Our team is dedicated to helping you make empowered decisions about your health and well-being. You are the authority on your needs and we want to assist you in using your intuition and internal resources to live an honest, authentic, and wholehearted life.

Working With Us:

Our team includes many highly skilled providers who offer a wide range of mental health treatment services in Seattle and the greater area of WA state. Our licensed providers are integrative, dynamic, and work from a holistic lens that prioritizes mind/body connection, nervous system regulation, and deep processing that facilitates long-term change. We take an active and collaborative approach that is backed by science and will give you sustainable tools to manage how you think, feel, and act day-to-day.

Each of our providers has their own specialties and treatment styles, which include Trauma Processing & Integration, Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Inner Child Work, Somatic Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy.

You can learn more about our staff and their specialties here.

Schedule A Consultation Call:

The best way to start is to schedule a FREE 15 minute consultation call. In this call, one of our intake coordinators will discuss with you what you are hoping to achieve in therapy, what brings you to therapy, and any past experiences in therapy. We will review your financial circumstances and determine a fee that will work for you. We will also help you navigate and understand your insurance benefits to figure out how much your insurance carrier will cover. We’ll then take a look at providers that might be a good match for your needs and get you scheduled! If there is not an available slot that would fit your circumstances, we’ll add you to a waitlist and reach out to you as soon as something is available.

*Please note that a consultation call does NOT constitute the start of therapy or treatment. The start of therapy or treatment only begins once you “the client” has signed the therapist’s and organization’s intake documents, which include informed consent, disclosure statements, and office policies AND you “the client” have attended your first intake session with the therapist.

In-Person Therapy:

Beginning in January 2024, some of our providers will now be offering sessions in-person at our brand new (and gorgeous) office space in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle, WA. We can’t wait for you to see it!

*Please be advised that we will do our best to accommodate in-person appointments. However, in-person appointments are limited and available based on the provider’s schedule and availability.

Telehealth/Online Therapy:

The COVID-19 Pandemic forced us all into our homes, so we switched our model from in-person treatment to telehealth treatment. While we do see clients in-person, we will continue to offer telehealth sessions, so that you can have increased access to your provider, convenient scheduling options, reduced stress with no commuting, and greater capacity to work with those who live outside of Seattle, WA.

If you choose to meet with a provider by telehealth, your provider will meet with you virtually using our HIPAA compliant video conferencing software.

*We have providers licensed in WA, CA, and MA, so we can provide therapy to individuals living in those states only.

Self-Pay Rates:

Our providers offer rates based on their skill level, clinical experience, and level of licensure.

During your consultation call, one of our intake providers will help you find a therapist that can meet your mental health needs AND accommodate a fee that works within your budget. Please review the following self-pay tiers, so you can get acquainted with how our services may fit within your budget.

Self-Pay Rates With Fully Licensed Therapists (Have The Most Experience): $150 - $250 / Session

Our fully licensed therapists are highly educated, extensively trained, have been in practice for many years, and are no longer under clinical supervision, so they are able to practice independently.

Self-Pay Rates With Associate Level Clinicians (Have Moderate Experience): $120 - $150 / Session

Our Associate Level Clinicians have are highly educated and have a few years of training and counseling experience, but they are still under clinical supervision and are not yet able to practice independently.

Self-Pay Rates With Associate Level Clinicians (Have 1-2 Years Experience): $85 -$120 / Session

Our Associate Level Clinicians have recently graduated with their MA in Counseling, have 1-2 years of counseling experience, are under clinical supervision, and are not yet able to practice independently.

Using Your Out-Of-Network Insurance Benefits:

All of our providers are considered out-of-network (OON) providers and can work with your out-of-network insurance benefits.

This option is a great fit for those who want to make empowered decisions about their healthcare and treatment plan, including selecting the provider you work with, having greater confidentiality and privacy about your treatment, type of treatment you receive, length of treatment, and generally more control over your treatment experience.

When you self-pay for mental health services, we can provide you a statement called a Superbill, that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement using your out-of-network benefits.

We find that most insurance companies will cover treatment services as an out-of-network provider and reimburse at about 40-80% of the cost of treatment.

Please contact your insurance carrier to determine the rules and restrictions around your mental health coverage, including your out-of-network benefits.

Start by asking the following questions:

  1. What are my mental health benefits?

  2. How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?

  3. What is my out-of-network deductible and how much of it has been met this year?

Insurance:

Some of our providers are in-network (INN) with Premera Blue Cross and LifeWise Insurance Carriers ONLY.

Some of our providers are NOT in-network with any insurance carriers and are considered Out-Of-Network providers.

*** Please be advised that we are NOT in-network with “BC/BS of Illinois” or “BC/BS Federal Employee Program.”

If you intend to pay for treatment using your in-network insurance benefits, we will make every effort to match you with a provider who is contracted with your insurance.  However, sometimes we may suggest that you see an out-of-network provider, as this may be a better fit for your reported mental health needs.

If you intend to pay for treatment using your in-network benefits with your insurance carrier, please be aware of the following:

  • You must provide us with full insurance information prior to your initial session, so we can begin the insurance verification process.

  • Your service fees are determined by the contracted rate schedule set by your insurance carrier.  We will research your insurance benefit information prior to your initial appointment, and provide you with an estimate, but we cannot guarantee that your specific insurance plan will reimburse you for services.

  • We strongly recommend that you consult your insurance benefits and call your insurance company to verify your benefit information with your insurance carrier, as well.

  • Sometimes, your insurance company may cover services differently than was originally anticipated, which can result in a higher cost to you.  When this happens, we will notify you about any balance due and send you an invoice for the balance owed.  If we have overestimated the cost, a credit will be applied towards your future appointments.

  • If your insurance carrier requires a pre-authorization for services, it is your responsibility to obtain the authorization prior to your initial session.  If you do not obtain the necessary authorization, we can reschedule your appointment for a later date and you will be responsible for any and all charges incurred and not reimbursed by your insurance carrier.

  • Any quote of benefits given by Satya Wellness Collective, PLLC is not a guarantee of coverage or amount owed at time of service.

For all other insurance carriers we are considered Out-Of-Network providers and we can provide you a statement, called a “Superbill,” that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement using your out-of-network benefits. We find that most insurance companies will cover treatment services as an out-of-network provider and reimburse about 40-80% of the cost of treatment.

Low Cost Therapy:

For clients with the highest financial need, who would not otherwise be able to afford therapy, we offer low-cost services with our clinical intern(s). Our interns are in the final steps of their graduate training in either a Master’s or Doctoral program in clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, clinical social work, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or a related mental health profession that prepares students to work as therapists. These clinicians work under the direct supervision of a fully-licensed clinician while they are gaining their hours and experience for graduation.

Please note that insurance carriers will not cover treatment services provided by clinical interns. Therefore, these low cost therapy rates are NOT covered by insurance.

During your consultation call, one of our intake providers will help you find a therapist that can meet your mental health needs AND accommodate a fee that works within your budget. Please review the following tiers for service fees, so you can acquainted with how this will fit within your budget:

Supporter : $65 / Session

For individuals who are able to pay a little more, we offer the “Supporter” tier. This tier allows you to receive low-cost services from one of our student interns, and help out higher-need clients on the “supported tier”.

Sustainer: $55 / Session

For individuals who are able to pay for their sessions, we offer the “Sustainer” tier. This tier covers the cost of treatment for yourself as you work with one of our student interns.

Supported: $30 / Session

For individuals who would not otherwise be able to access mental health treatment and need support from the community.

*** Please check out our page of FREE resources, which includes a list of community mental health organizations that can accept Medicaid or offer free counseling services.

  • Yes, we are in-network with Premera Blue Cross and LifeWise Insurance companies ONLY.

  • We are considered out-of-network (OON) providers for most insurance plans and we can provide you a statement, called a Superbill, that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement using your out-of-network benefits.

We find that most insurance companies will cover treatment services as an out-of-network provider and reimburse about 40-80% of the cost of treatment.

This option works very well for most of the clients we serve and most of our clients do get reimbursed by their insurance carrier.

  • Please contact your insurance carrier to determine the rules and restrictions around your mental health coverage, including your out-of-network benefits.

Start by asking the following questions:

    1. What are my mental health benefits (i.e. deductible, copay, coinsurance, out of pocket maximum, etc)?

    2. How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?

    3. What is my deductible and how much of it has been met this year?

  • Absolutely. Each of our providers offers a sliding scale and we also offer low cost counseling services with our student interns.

The sliding scale is determined by financial need and your out-of-network benefits. In our consultation call, we will assist you in determining a fee that is workable for your budget.

In the phone consultation you will meet with one of our intake coordinators to discuss your mental health needs, fees for services, and help you get scheduled with an available provider. We will also be able to answer any questions about treatment, insurance, and sliding scale needs.

You can get scheduled for a consultation call here: https://www.satyawellnesscollective.com/scheduling

  • The COVID-19 Pandemic forced us all into our homes, so we switched our model from in-person treatment to telehealth treatment.

Currently, we are still 100% telehealth.

It is our every intention to get back to in-person work as soon as we can. In the meantime, our virtual sessions allow us more ease of access to work with any individual located in Washington state and also allow us to keep costs low for the clients we serve.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) explaining how much your healthcare will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for healthcare services.

If you are not using insurance to pay for your treatment, we will provide you with a GFE prior to your first scheduled session.

  • Decolonization is the undoing of colonialism and means to stepping from the dominant practices that are rooted in systemic oppression.

Social justice in healthcare is the belief that all people have equal rights and opportunities, especially the right to health.

We are working to decolonize mental health in the following ways:

    1. Encouraging each individual to be their own expert and use their own unique strengths and self-determination.

    2. Prioritizing collective care and the sharing of resources.

    3. Shifting away from traditional healthcare practices that pathologize and cause harm.

    4. Offering holistic and culturally affirming practices and treatment solutions.

    5. Actively working to dismantle racism and systematic oppression.
